IDEA and CONCEPT

    #  ASSIGNMENT 3

What is IDEA? What is CONCEPT? Sometime this two term are usually use by people, It is they really know what meanings of this term? IDEA is  something  such as a thought  that potentially or actually exists in the mind as a product of mental activity. IDEA is generally define as:
  • To name the subjective contents of our own minds
  • Just whatever is before the mind when one thinks
  • Construed as representational images is image of some object
Then what is CONCEPT? CONCEPT can be says the second process after IDEA, HOW WE WANT TO EXECUTE OUR IDEAS. It have to communicate and connect the ideas through the dots , means concept is the medium to apply the resembles of idea into action plan. In ADVERTISING usually this two process are involved in order to produce better advertisement. So let"s we watch two television commercial advertisement that come from two different sources. International and our local TV'c.. and from that we can see what is idea, concept and so on.


LOCAL TV'c = KEROPOK MONY

IDEA:  "CRISPY, DELICIOUS, ANYTIME, ENJOYABLE, FOR EVERYONE"
 
CONCEPT: Portrayal  two family time during evening, by show that they enjoy eat a  
                   "Keropok Mony", and how easy and fast to prepare and fry the "Keropok Mony".
                    Both family try to show off that  they also eat "Keropok Mony". Not only the 
                    adults eat the 'keropok" but also the children. Use a Jinggle  song to carry out 
                    out the idea message.

RATIONALE: To show that this "Keropok" are eat by everyone, that why they  use the family  
                        (Father,  mother, son and daughter). Then also, a crispy   of "keropok" , while people  
                         eat the "keropok"crisp sound came out. Next, "Keropok"  can be eat during evening 
                         and morning,means anytime. ALL the ideas is sing in the jingle, to people easy 
                         remember and get the idea how the TV''c IS ALL ABOUT.

 

INTERNATIONAL TV'c =  NOLLAN CHEDDAR


IDEA: "STRONG, ENERGY-TIC"

CONCEPT: Use a mouse that eat cheese on the mouse trap , a mouse being trap  after eat a 
                      cheese.That mouse become weak and after a few second, a mouse become strong and 
                      able to sit up and also become energy-tic.

RATIONALE: 
                        By use a mouse that being trap in mouse trap after it finish eat the cheese, to show 
                        that a mouse become weak and want to died, and then become strong to lift up an 
                        iron in the mouse trap. At that  first place a mouse weak and want to died impact of
                        mouse trap, but in the end of  this TV'c show that a mouse become strong, because of  
                        a cheese . The cheese make a mouse become strong and more energy-tic and powerful.
                        So that clearly portray the rationale of use mouse as the subject is to carry out the 
                        powerful of cheese after a mouse eat that cheese. .
